xThe ComEth 4590a is a SOSA aligned high-performance layer 3 switch with 2 Ethernet switch matrices for highly secure network communications. In 10GbE and 40GbE Ethernet copper and fiber configurations.
Product Features
x- Two Ethernet packet processors, managed by a Dual Core ARM processor with Switchware network management graphical user interface
- Available Ethernet interfaces are 30 serdes on the rear panel P1/P2) individually configurable in 10GBase-KR or 1000Base-KX modes
- Each group of 4 serdes can be merged to support 40GBase-KR4 or 10GBase-KX4 modes
- Available Ethernet interfaces are 2 serdes on the front panel, linked to 2 x SFP+ cages to support fiber or copper 10Gb
- Compliant with slot profiles: SLT3-SWH-6F1U7U-14.4.14 (and also SLT3-SWH-4F-14.4.1& SLT3-SWH-2F8U-14.4.5)
- Partially compliant with SLT3-SWH-8F-14.4.2 (only 7F) and SLT3-SWH-2F24U-14.4.3 (only 22U)
- Available in conduction cooled (1.0”) in compliance with VITA 46.0
