xElma‘s VITA 46.11 Intelligent Platform Management Controller (IPMC) for VPX is a pre-programmed part and source-code package created to give designers a quick path to integrating VITA 46.11 system management functionality onto their board designs.

x- VITA 46.11 Tier-3 IPMC with additional functionality defined by the SOSA Technical Standard Version 1.0, including firewalls.
- Part of complete system monitoring and management solution including Elma’s shelf manager board. Supports both IPMB-A and IPMB-B
- Pre-programmed IPMI software designed for and delivered on an NXP LPC55S28JBD64K microcontroller
- Analog inputs for voltage current or temperature measurements
- External I2C for temperature measurements and communication with payload
- Inputs for digital sensors
- Outputs for E-keying (PICMG 3.0)
- External thermal-diode for monitoring FPGA or in-chip sensors
- Hot swap switch input LEDs and payload power control outputs
- Serial interface for debugging, firmware update, and configuration. The firmware update is supported also over IPMB.
